DURHAM, N.C., December 8, 2021 – The AAA Four Diamond Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club and JB Duke Hotel are kicking off the holiday season with festive décor on display and a staycation giveaway in collaboration with Carolina Ballet. One winner will receive a prize package that includes a one-night stay at the JB Duke Hotel, dinner at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club’s award-winning Fairview Dining Room, and four tickets to a performance of Carolina Ballet’s highly anticipated production of The Nutcracker, which runs from December 17-24 at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in Raleigh. The giveaway posted on Instagram today, and a winner will be randomly selected on December 15.*

Several Carolina Ballet dancers were among the first to enjoy the festive décor at the luxury Durham hotels. Clara joined the Sugar Plum Fairy and fellow special guests to perform choreography from The Nutcracker throughout decorated lobbies, corridors, and meeting spaces to film a special holiday greeting, which will premiere on Instagram on December 15.

The Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club and JB Duke Hotel are favorite destinations for holiday celebrations of all sizes, and each year Triangle families visit the hotels to capture elegant holiday photos and enjoy the festive ambiance with loved ones.

Located in the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club, the Fairview Dining Room is the perfect place to enjoy special holiday celebrations and experience the best of Durham fine dining. The restaurant is accepting reservations for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, offering its regular a la carte menu and holiday specials. On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, the restaurant will be open from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. and feature entertainment from a live pianist.

On New Year’s Eve, lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., and dinner will be served from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The Bull Durham Bar, also located at the Inn, will remain open until midnight for guests to ring in the New Year with elegant ambiance.
